PAPER BODY

11 may, brussels

movement workshop with marina sekacheva

Is it possible to build a dialogue with gravity and how?
How can my body adapt in a field of unknown and spontaneity?
What direction of movement does a relaxed mind create?
How the form of movement plays with the quality of formlessness?
How can an object be a bodily tool for establishing a connection in partnering practice?
During the practice, we would like to keep open the questions:
about
The Paper Body is a pure reflection of our state of body and mind, which opens up an honest and creative field for development and observation of our inеternal blocks. Through this practice, we can mentally and physically participate in the surprising improvisational flow without losing interest in spontaneity, play and connection with the object and other people. The main quality of this process is how openly, gently and at the same time precisely we can accept the challenge of gravity and trust in the new sensations of adaptation of the body and mind through contact and the principle of falling.
TO WHOM
Open level, meaning the practice welcomes anyone who is genuinely curious and wants to explore improvisation and connection through playfulness, sensitivity and gravity.
