High Heels

We will dive into the exploration of the stability of the step in heels and the feeling of our axis, the plasticity and sensuality of the body.

Contemporary

We will dive into the exploration of body mobility, floor-work, practice with space, different qualities of movement and the sense of the body's center.

Waacking

We will dive into the exploration of different forms, the quality of precision, the feelings of contrast between speeds and directions, musicality and coordination.

Dance Lab is a creative learning process where you will immerse yourself in three incredibly powerful and beautiful dance languages: High Heels, Contemporary and Waacking.

"I will share practical tools for developing a harmonious connection between the sense of movement and the physical vocabulary of 3 dance languages. There will be a special focus on exploring personal style through technical aspects, improvisational skills and choreography."

TO WHOM

The lab is open to beginners and intermediates.
Anyone who is willing to work productively for three hours a day and wants to learn 3 different dance languages through technical aspects, improvisation and choreography can join.

Marina Sekacheva - dancer, choreographer and teacher in the field of Contemporary Dance, Waacking and High Heels. Teaching dance since 2010.

In 2017 she graduated from "Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University", the Institute of Music, Theater and Choreography in St. Petersburg.

She studied various dance and movement practices, such as: contemporary dance, classical dance, basketball, acrobatics, jazz dance, folk dance, gaga, yoga, tap dance, waacking, high-heels, house, hip-hop, vogue, flying low, liquid body, play-fight practice, gfp.

For the past three years she has been training with Pedro Reis (one month training in Brazil), Panda Waack, Malou Linders, Yanis Marshall, Mounia Nassangar, Brina Brecelj, Mizuki Jane Flamingo, Suzanne Degennaro, Natalia Palomares, Christina Yoghurt, Haejun Choice, Mikel Calvo Pariente, Marina Bagrova and others.
